Welcome to Indigo People.
I always felt 'different.' Didn't always feel like I belonged. Not only did I not feel like I 'fit in,' but others treated me like I was different.
Throughout life, I seemed to 'know' things. I seemed to be able to 'read' people and circumstances.
Just a few years ago, I was talking to my pastor and I told him something about infants. He immediately JERKED his head toward me and had an astonished look on his face. He asked me, "How do you know that?" My wife (at the time) responded (sort of chuckling), "He does that all the time...he just 'knows' things." My pastor looked whitewashed. He called me a "Perceiver," that I was able to perceive things others could not. He called it a 'gift.'
I remember another time when I was at home. My (then wife) was outside talking to a neighbor that had walked up to introduce herself as we had just moved into the neighborhood. I walked into the kitchen and saw them outside talking. I did not go outside, but stood inside looking out at them. I noticed the boy, three years of age, and just looked at him. When my wife came inside, she told me that they were neightbors and lived across the street. I told her that the woman was a single mother and that there was not a male in the home. I told her the father was absent from the child's life. She asked me if I had already talked to the neighbor and I replied, "No." She asked me how I knew that about them and I replied, as usual, "I just feel it."
The next day when I came home from work, she met me at the door and had an astonished look on her face. I asked her what was up, noticing the 'look,' and she told me I was correct about the child.
Reently, while talking to a new friend (had only been talking for about three minutes or so), I was telling her she was misunderstood, a deep-thinker, was loving and compassionate, among other things. She asked me how I knew that about her and I simply responded as I always have, "I just 'felt' that about you."
I asked her if I was wrong and she replied that, I was eerily correct and said I MUST be an Indigo Person.
From there I began my research to find out just exactly WHAT an Indigo Person was.
I was amazed and comforted to know WHY these things had happened to me and happened in my life. No doubt whatsoever, I AM an Indigo.
Whether you are an Indigo or simply want to know more about what an Indigo Person is, Thank You for visiting.
